Who are we?
The Bromeliad Society of Queensland was formed in 1967 and has operated continuously since.
Previously, the society has run conferences and major events such as Tillandsia Day Workshops.
We are active in the community providing displays and organising speakers for various events.
What are our objectives?
To promote good fellowship among all people interested in Bromeliad culture and in horticulture generally.
To further the knowledge and advancement of all that
pertains to Bromeliads, including their natural history, cultivation and
hybridisation.
To disseminate knowledge of Bromeliads and carry out
educational and research activities into all aspects of Bromeliaceae.
